International Travel for Students
All students completing university-related international travel must comply with the Georgetown International Travel Policy.
Students traveling in an organized Georgetown group with a faculty or staff leader do not need to submit a travel authorization application individually but should contact their group leader for further instructions. All GU students participating in University-related international travel should register with International SOS, Georgetown's Global Assistance Program, and STEP, the State Department Smart Traveler Enrollment Program. GU travelers are also required to have health insurance with international coverage. Learn more about how to complete these steps of the travel authorization process.
